The City of Reno is seeking landscape right-of-way maintenance services for designated public sites, with annual district pricing and hourly rates for supplemental work. - Government buyer - City of Reno, Procurement Division, on behalf of the Parks and Recreation Department. - Primary procurement - Routine landscape and natural-area maintenance across nine designated maintenance districts. - The contractor supplies all labor, equipment, and materials for base maintenance; no fixed service quantities are guaranteed. - Base work includes plant, shrub, and tree care; irrigation startup, operation, backflow testing, and repairs; pest and weed control; litter and site cleanup; fence-line and natural-area maintenance; snow removal; and cleanup after accidents or vandalism. - Bidders provide a separate annual base price for each district and hourly rates for supplemental work. - Districts and listed site areas - Bagpipe Circle, Bagpipe and Silver Lake Boulevard: 104,347 sq. ft. landscaped area, 42,185 sq. ft. natural area/detention basin, and 1 backflow. - Grand Summit, Rainbow Ridge and Grand Summit Drive: 8,245 sq. ft. landscaped area and 1 backflow. - Northgate Unit 18: 82,021 sq. ft. landscaped area and 3 backflows. - Northgate Unit 19 - LaSalle Heights: 40,605 sq. ft. landscaped area and 1 backflow. - Northgate Unit 21: 33,426 sq. ft. landscaped area and 1 backflow. - Royal Sage Unit 5, Kings Row and Royal Sage Street: 9,941 sq. ft. landscaped area, 133,807 sq. ft. natural area, and 1 backflow. - Silverado Ranch Estates Units 6 and 7, West 7th and Montego Street: 21,873 sq. ft. landscaped area and 3 backflows. - Silverado Ranch Estates Unit 11, Robb and Las Brisas: 51,099 sq. ft. landscaped area and 1 backflow. - Turtle Creek II, Silver Lake Boulevard: 69,974 sq. ft. landscaped area and 1 backflow. - Supplemental services - Plant maintenance: corrective shrub pruning and removal of mature rabbit brush that conflicts with formal plantings; priced hourly, including personnel and equipment. - Plant replacement: replace dead or missing plants with the same or an approved substitute; plants and supplies are excluded from the hourly rate and may be provided by the City. - Tree replacement: replace dead or missing trees with the same or an approved substitute; planting must be supervised by a certified arborist, tree care worker, or certified landscape technician, and requires a tree permit. Description

The City of Reno is soliciting electronic proposals for regular and routine Landscape Right of Way Maintenance to assist its Parks and Recreation Department. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and materials needed to perform the services at the sites identified in Exhibit 1. Proposals are due October 29, 2026, at 3:00 PM through the online portal.
