Bids are requested as separate firm-fixed-price lump sums for each site. - OEMs and named manufacturers: Skydio is the OEM for the referenced Skydio X10 Drone, Skydio Dock for X10, Skydio Connect External Radio, and Skydio Cloud Organization. Simpson Strong-Tie is named for the specified #14 self-drilling sheet-metal screws, or an approved equal. - Notable technical requirements: Curbs must be cold-formed steel at least 18 gauge with minimum 33 KSI yield strength. Fasteners must be spaced no more than 6 inches on center. Coordinate final curb placement and orientation with City staff, center curbs between bar joists, maintain required dock spacing, verify roof adequacy, and preserve existing roof warranties. - Contractor responsibilities: Provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, safety protections, cleanup, and off-site construction-waste disposal. The City waives construction-permit fees. Payment and performance bonds, each equal to the contract price, and specified insurance are required. - System-readiness context: The Skydio readiness material describes site, power, network, clearance, and weather-protection needs; it also discusses authorized site surveys, deployment coordination, installation, and maintenance.
