Ocean County is seeking suppliers for on-demand lumber and related building materials across multiple county departments. - Government buyer: County of Ocean, serving Buildings & Grounds, Bridges, Engineering, Fire & First Aid Training Center, Parks, and Roads. - OEMs and vendors: No manufacturers, OEMs, or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation. - Requested products: Suppliers must offer minimum percentage discounts from catalog or website prices for 13 categories: - General lumber and lumber supplies - Untreated dimensional lumber, including Douglas Fir and Spruce - Pressure-treated lumber, including ACQ-treated products - Bridge materials and heavy timber, including salt-treated timber and structural beams - Plywood and sheathing, including ACQ-treated plywood, CDX, and MDO panels - Veneer and cabinet-grade materials, including oak, birch, and walnut - Clear pine, hardwood, cedar, and specialty woods - Drywall and gypsum products, including sheetrock and joint compound - Molding and finish trim - Hardware and fasteners, including screws, nails, flashing, and brackets - Building accessories and panels, including cork boards and peg boards - Training and specialty-use materials - Miscellaneous similar lumber and supplies - Quantities and part numbers: No fixed quantities or part numbers are specified; purchases will be made as needed through purchase orders. - Notable requirements: Discounts are minimums and remain firm during the contract term. Awarded suppliers must provide written quotes within two working days, deliver stocked items within two working days after an order, deliver FOB destination, and replace unsatisfactory or nonconforming products at no cost. No restocking fees or unauthorized surcharges are permitted. - Period of performance: One year from award or until delivery is complete, unless otherwise stated; the County may extend the contract under applicable New Jersey law.
