Tarrant County Hospital District, doing business as JPS Health Network, is seeking a single-source clinical engineering services provider for its healthcare facilities. - Government buyer: Tarrant County Hospital District d/b/a JPS Health Network; Supply Chain Department, JPS Purchasing Office. - Services requested: Manage clinical engineering operations, staff development, regulatory compliance, preventive maintenance, repairs, equipment safety testing, and outside service contracts. Support capital and asset management, equipment planning and installation, and the District’s Master Facilities Plan. - Systems and equipment support: Provide and implement a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and RFID asset tracking; support bed and stretcher repair, nurse-call systems, LAL pumps, traction equipment, and other clinical equipment. Scope also includes loaner equipment, parts other than consumables, annual inventory and forecasting, policy support, and disaster continuity. - Staffing and coverage: Include one full-time director-level employee, one full-time operations manager, and one full-time capital manager. Submit pricing for two staffing options: expanded evening and weekend onsite coverage, or weekday and weekend on-call/call-back coverage in addition to JPS staff. - Service requirements: Provide year-round 24/7 emergency support, with a telephone response within one hour and onsite response within two hours, without additional travel cost. Maintain a local office, parts depot, and loaner fleet in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. - Participation target: The solicitation identifies a 25% good-faith participation target for small or historically underutilized businesses (HUBs). - OEMs and products: No OEMs, product brands, or part numbers are specified; this is a services-focused opportunity. - Potential competitors: TRIMEDX, Sodexo, Crothall Healthcare, and Agiliti provide or may compete to provide related healthcare technology management services.
