Description

The Town of Milton Department of Public Works is seeking proposals for removal of hazardous trees in the Town’s right-of-way, including trees at locations on Hardscrabble Road, Main Street, and Lake Road. The contractor must remove the identified trees, cut stumps to within six inches of the ground, and handle cleanup, hauling, and disposal unless otherwise noted; traffic control is also the contractor’s responsibility and must be coordinated with DPW. The contractor must provide a proposed work schedule, give DPW at least one day’s notice before starting, and complete all work by January 31, 2027. Work is prohibited during Highway Department winter operations and unsafe or impractical inclement weather. Proposals are due October 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
