Approved equivalents are allowed. The geotechnical report was prepared by Bauer Associates, Inc. for Brelje & Race Consulting Engineers; PG&E is referenced for utility coordination. - Major equipment and quantities: Two Grundfos 475S600-7 submersible pump systems, each with a Grundfos MMS 6 motor; one hydropneumatic bladder tank of at least 792 gallons; one Rosemount 8750W magnetic flow meter; one Cla-Val Model 92-07 pressure-sustaining/pressure-reducing valve with solenoid shutoff; 250 linear feet of 12-inch PVC irrigation main; and 12 transformer bollards. - Technical requirements: Pump systems must meet specified operating capacities and at least 75% efficiency at design points, with motors rated 60–75 HP. The tank must meet specified operating and working pressure limits. The PVC main is specified as DR-18, pressure class 235, generally conforming to AWWA C900; ductile iron may be substituted at no additional cost. - Construction and site work: Includes work at the North and South wells, wellhead piping, flow-meter and valve vaults, irrigation piping and tie-in, electrical service, MCC/PLC controls and telemetry, excavation, dewatering, shoring, erosion control, testing, startup, and restoration.
