Citywide On-Call Electrical Services for Wilmington Facilities

The City of Wilmington is seeking contractors for citywide, on-call electrical work at municipal facilities and designated properties. - Government buyer: City of Wilmington, Finance Department, Purchasing Division; Buildings & Facilities Superintendent Aaron Cramer. - Requested service: As-needed inspection, preventive maintenance, emergency response, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and replacement of electrical systems and related equipment. Work may include panels, breakers, wiring, lighting, transformers, motors, controls, HVAC and pump electrical equipment, grounding, surge protection, and temporary power. - Service requirements: Contractor supplies labor, new commercial-quality materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, applicable permits, and disposal. No minimum workload is guaranteed; work requires City authorization. - Response and quality requirements: Emergency on-site response within 2–4 hours, 24/7; urgent response within 24 hours; routine response within 3–5 business days. Work must comply with applicable codes and safety requirements, include service documentation, and carry a 365-day workmanship warranty. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs, manufacturers, or specific vendors are named; no specific products or part numbers are requested.

The City of Wilmington is seeking proposals from qualified electrical contractors to provide citywide, on-call services on an as-needed basis.
