Construction of the MAX Forestdale CNG Station Phase IB

BJCTA is seeking a single-prime contractor to build the MAX Forestdale CNG Station Phase IB in Birmingham, Alabama, as a complete, operational fueling facility. - Government buyer: Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority (BJCTA), Procurement Department. - Main requirement: Construct the CNG fueling station and service building, including selective demolition, fueling canopy and islands, equipment yard, sitework, and grading. Description

The Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority is seeking proposals to construct a complete, fully functional, and operational compressed natural gas fueling facility at the Forestdale CNG Station. The contractor will furnish the labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, testing, commissioning services, and incidentals needed for the work. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the BJCTA PlanetBids Vendor Portal by November 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST, and a bid bond equal to 5% of the total proposal price is required. The pre-proposal conference is non-mandatory.
