The City of Chicago is seeking one lead agency to coordinate no-cost peer support for organizations serving small businesses through its Neighborhood Business Network program. - Government buyer: City of Chicago, Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP); buyer contact named in the attachment: Maurice Phillips. - Opportunity: RFP 77333, Specification 1360023, for one Neighborhood Business Network–Peer Support (NBN-PS) lead agency. The selected nonprofit community-based organization will support NBN delegate agencies and other eligible business-serving organizations. - Services requested: Map participating organizations’ programs, services, expertise, geographic coverage, and gaps; create shared tools and resources; provide training and technical assistance; facilitate peer learning and convenings; strengthen collaboration and referrals; and help organizations apply improved practices. Assistance and programming must be free to participants. - Required outputs and proposal details: Deliver a comprehensive program map, annual impact report, training curriculum, and on-demand training video library. Proposals should also describe the work program, service activities and deliverables, service hours, access methods, outreach and languages, partnerships, performance measurement, reporting and invoicing, organizational capacity, and staff training. Respondents must identify the Community Areas served and explain how small businesses can access services; the program must maintain a dedicated email address and website. - OEMs and vendors: No product manufacturers, OEMs, or commercial vendors are named; this is a services opportunity. - Funding and term: Reimbursement grant funded by the City’s Corporate Fund, with funding of up to $500,000. The anticipated initial term is one year, with up to four additional periods of no more than one year each, subject to need, funding, and performance.
