Description
FEMA is seeking OMB review and clearance for an extension of its currently approved information collection concerning the National Flood Insurance Program’s Elevation Certificate and Floodproofing Certificate. The forms document building compliance with local floodplain management requirements and, with a Flood Insurance Application, provide elevation information in support of flood insurance premiums or discounts. Respondents are primarily surveyors, architects, or engineers; property owners may complete specified portions of the Elevation Certificate. Comments are due by November 6, 2026.
