Description

The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) gives notice that the July 6, 2018 and August 23, 2018 actions concerning China's technology transfer, intellectual property, and innovation practices did not terminate on their respective four-year anniversary dates. USTR received requests from representatives of domestic industries to continue both actions, which will remain in effect subject to possible further modifications. USTR will conduct a statutory review and issue a separate notice describing the review process, including an opportunity for interested persons to submit comments.
