Description
The National Commission on the Future of the Navy will hold a public hearing with Navy, Marine Corps, and Joint uniformed leaders to discuss actions necessary to secure America’s future maritime seapower. This is the fourth hearing supporting the Commission’s independent, bipartisan assessment of naval force structure, readiness, and long-term maritime requirements. The public hearing will take place at 1 p.m. EST on October 8, 2026, at the Russell Senate Office Building, and will also be available via livestream.
