Description
The Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division, is withdrawing its proposed rule published July 2, 2025. The proposal would have removed from Title 29, Chapter V, Subchapter B of the Code of Federal Regulations parts that were not issued or amended through notice-and-comment rulemaking, and repurposed them as subregulatory guidance. The Department is discontinuing the rulemaking and removing the proposal from further consideration. The withdrawal was effective October 6, 2026.
