NOAA Wreckfish Advisory Panel Public Meeting

NOAA is announcing a public meeting of the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council’s Wreckfish Advisory Panel, not a procurement opportunity. - Government agencies: U.S. Department of Commerce; National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA); National Marine Fisheries Service; South Atlantic Fishery Management Council. - Meeting focus: The panel will receive an update on a resilient fisheries project and work with project developers on management recommendations using decision-support tools. - Program review: The panel will review a draft of the second subsequent Wreckfish Individual Transferable Quota Program Review and provide input on its findings and recommendations. - Location and access: The meeting will be held in Charleston, South Carolina, with webinar access available; webinar registration is required. - Procurement: No products, services, quantities, OEMs, or vendors are requested.

Description

The South Atlantic Fishery Management Council will host a meeting of the Wreckfish Advisory Panel from November 4 through November 6, 2026. The panel will receive an update on a resilient fisheries project and develop management recommendations using decision support tools. It will also review a draft of the second subsequent Wreckfish Individual Transferable Quota Program Review and provide input on its conclusions and recommendations. The meeting will be held in Charleston, South Carolina, and will also be available by webinar; registration is required.
