Description

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is accepting applications for cooperative agreements under the National Digital Newspaper Program. The program supports creating a national digital resource of historically significant newspapers published between 1690 and 1963, from all 56 states and U.S. jurisdictions, maintained by the Library of Congress as a freely accessible, searchable database. Approximately 11 awards are anticipated, with awards of up to $325,000 and a period of performance of up to two years. Applications are due January 13, 2027; cost sharing is not required.
