Description

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is seeking information from entities experienced in forest carbon credit markets. The RFI asks about the developer landscape, project feasibility and revenue potential, project and procurement structure, long-term management, and project integrity for forest carbon projects on state-owned and privately owned lands. Responses are intended to help the Commonwealth understand the marketplace and may inform a future competitive procurement; responding is voluntary and does not commit the Commonwealth to procure forest carbon credits. Responses are due electronically through COMMBUYS by October 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
