The City of Raleigh’s Raleigh Water department is seeking contractors to provide on-call repairs for backup generators at municipal water and wastewater facilities. - Government buyer: City of Raleigh, Raleigh Water. - Requested services: Emergency response, scheduled repairs, and diagnostics for existing diesel, propane, and natural-gas generators and related systems at treatment plants, pump and lift stations, storage facilities, and booster pump stations. - Service requirements: - Provide 24/7/365 emergency support and arrive onsite within two hours of an emergency call. - Use OEM-trained technicians and OEM-recommended diagnostic tools or software. - Schedule ordinary repair work within 3–5 business days unless otherwise agreed; provide itemized repair quotes within 24–48 hours after diagnostic visits. - Repair generator, electrical, transfer-switch, fuel, battery, exhaust, cooling, and control systems; major repairs require a site-specific pre-work briefing. - OEMs and vendors: No manufacturers, specific OEMs, or vendors are named. No generator models, part numbers, product quantities, or minimum workload are specified. - Contract term: Services may be provided for up to five years; the awarded contract will establish the specific term.
