The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission is seeking qualified contractors for construction services to renovate Gunner's Lake Local Park in Germantown, Maryland. Proposed improvements include a playground, picnic pavilion, relocated soccer fields, stormwater facilities, new pedestrian entrances and stairways, and a loop path with benches and an adult fitness area. The construction scope also includes site preparation, demolition, tree preservation, erosion and sediment control, grading, drainage, athletic field construction, paving, planting, and related site work. This RFQu is the first phase of a two-step procurement; firms prequalified through this process may receive the subsequent detailed Invitations for Bids, and no monetary award will be made under this RFQu.
