The Department of the Navy is seeking vendor capability information for a temporary propane water-heater system at Naval Base Point Loma in San Diego, California. - Government buyer: Department of the Navy, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY), Code 410 Contracting Division. - Requirement: Lease one propane-powered water heater rated at a minimum of 600,000 BTU/hr, with propane supply and the listed gauges, valves, fittings, and related components. - Equipment requirements: The heater tank must be rated for 150 PSI working pressure and include an insulated vessel, magnesium anode(s), enclosed controls, skid base, and lifting access. Any external propane tank must be at least 200 gallons and include a level indicator. - Included support: Delivery, setup and startup support, operating training, preventative maintenance, weekly technician inspections, technical reports, repairs, and return shipping. - Respond to repair requests within 12 hours; if equipment cannot be restored within 24 hours, provide a replacement and restore function within 48 hours at no additional charge. - Compliance and location: Meet applicable ASME requirements and California emissions and permitting requirements; equipment is for Naval Base Point Loma in San Diego, California. - OEMs, vendors, models, and part numbers: None are identified in the notice or attached SOW. - Opportunity status: Sources sought; the notice is seeking capability information and is not an award.
