Litigation includes government-entity representation and proceedings involving BPCA, but excludes personal injury and tort claims. - IT services include advice on artificial intelligence and emerging technology, cybersecurity, data privacy, related policies and contracts, compliance, and cyber risk. Other practice areas cover insurance coverage and risk, IP agreements and disputes, corporate governance, and constitutional matters. - Notable requirements: Providers must be able to deliver legal services relevant to New York and provide timely in-person support. BPCA is seeking qualifications from law firms and other legal staffing companies to establish a pre-qualified panel for on-call legal services. Firms may submit qualifications for one or more practice areas, including real estate, construction, public finance, labor relations, litigation, insurance and risk management, information technology, intellectual property, corporate governance, and constitutional law. BPCA may select firms from the panel for future legal matters as needs arise; no number, type, duration, or value of assignments is guaranteed. The contract term is three years, with two one-year renewal options, and the total MWBE goal is 30%.
