Smoky Lake County is seeking a contractor to process gravel for its road program at one or both of its designated pits. - Buyer: Smoky Lake County. - Requested services: Crush, screen, test, and stockpile gravel at White Earth Creek Pit and/or Legacy Pit. - Estimated annual production: 100,000 tonnes—approximately 80,000 tonnes of 4-20 gravel and 20,000 tonnes of 4-40 gravel. These are estimates; no minimum quantity is guaranteed. - Contractor responsibilities: Provide all labour, equipment, supervision, mobilization, quality control, and testing required to meet County specifications. - Scope limits and work planning: Off-site hauling is excluded unless separately authorized. Final quantities, work sites, and schedules will be set through annual written work orders. - OEMs and vendors: No product manufacturers, OEMs, or other vendors are named.

Description

Smoky Lake County is seeking proposals for gravel crushing, screening, testing, and stockpiling at White Earth Creek Pit and/or Legacy Pit for its road program. Estimated annual production is 100,000 tonnes: approximately 80,000 tonnes of 4-20 gravel and 20,000 tonnes of 4-40 gravel; final quantities, sites, and schedules will be confirmed through annual written work orders, with no minimum quantity guaranteed. The contractor must provide the labour, equipment, supervision, mobilization, quality control, and testing needed to meet County specifications; off-site hauling is excluded unless separately authorized. Proposals must include firm annual pricing for 2027–2029 and information about experience, references, equipment and capacity, contingency plans, and quality, safety, and environmental procedures. The contract duration is 36 months and is subject to annual performance reviews, Council approval, and a written agreement.
