Weekly Building 1085 Common-Area Cleaning at Minot Air Force Base

The Department of the Air Force is seeking recurring cleaning services for common areas in Building 1085 at Minot Air Force Base. - Government buyer: Department of the Air Force, Air Force Global Strike Command, FA4528 5 CONS; the work supports the 5th Operations Support Squadron at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota. - Requested service: Weekly Level 2 cleaning of approximately 15,000 square feet of common and shared spaces in Building 1085. - Clean and sanitize restrooms, floors, carpets, stairways, mats, refrigerators, furniture, drinking fountains, the laundry room, gym, and other listed common areas. - Remove trash and replace liners; provide and replenish paper towels, toilet paper, and liquid hand soap for 150 personnel for seven days, along with 30–33 gallon and 7–10 gallon trash bags. - Contractor provides all labor, management, tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies. No product part numbers or separate product quantities are specified. - Timing and site requirements: Schedule the first cleaning within seven days of award and complete it within 30 days of award; perform subsequent cleanings weekly in coordination with the Government point of contact. Work is normally during weekday business hours. Contractor personnel must coordinate base access and be escorted. - OEMs and vendors: No commercial OEMs, vendors, or named cleaning products are identified. Government points of contact named for RFQ requests are Keri Meis, Marta Lange, and Charles Ramsey. - Funding: The notice states that funds are not currently available and award is contingent on funding.

Description

This presolicitation notice is provided in accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul 12.201-1(c)(2)(1) and serves to provide notification to all interested businesses for an upcoming solicitation for non-personal services to provide weekly Level 2 cleaning services of Building 1085 at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota. Further details regarding anticipated performance requirements are outlined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).   

The anticipated Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be solicited directly to interested vendors in accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul Subpart 12.201 simplified procedures. Any responsible sources who wish to be included in the competition for the direct solicitation should request a copy of the anticipated RFQ from both Government Points of Contact listed on this notice as soon as possible. The anticipated issue date for the direct solicitation is approximately 10 days after issuance of this presolicitation notice.

Anticipated Award Date: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under the anticipated solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel the anticipated solicitation, either before or after release. In the event the Government cancels the anticipated solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
