The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Fort Worth District is offering government-owned timber salvage for purchase and removal from project areas in Texas. - Government buyer: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Fort Worth District. - Locations: Wright Patman Lake, Lake O’ the Pines, and the White Oak Creek Mitigation Area. - Timber offered (estimated quantities): - Pine sawtimber: 500 tons - Pine pulpwood: 1,000 tons - Pine chip-n-saw/pallet: 1,500 tons - Hardwood sawtimber: 200 tons - Hardwood pallet: 1,800 tons - Hardwood pulpwood: 1,000 tons - Sale structure: As-needed and non-exclusive; actual available volumes are unpredictable. No part numbers are specified. - Requirements: Harvesting must follow Texas Forest Service best management practices and project-specific environmental and operational restrictions. Sealed bid subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Invitations for Bids, for the purchase and removal of the Government-owned property listed in this notice to bidders, will be received until the time, date, and at the place indicated below, and then publicly opened.
