NFTA Term Consulting Services Across Seven Disciplines

The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority’s Engineering office is seeking qualified firms for on-call consulting across transit, facilities, environmental, planning, and construction disciplines. - Government buyer: Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA), Engineering office, Buffalo, New York. - Requested services: Architecture; Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP); Civil/Structural; LRRT–Train Control; Health, Safety, Environmental Quality (HSEQ); Planning; and Construction Monitoring. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs, product vendors, or specific consulting firms are named in the opportunity. No manufactured products, part numbers, or quantities are requested. - Notable requirements: Firms may pursue one or more disciplines, with a separate proposal required for each. Selection is based on qualifications, and work assignments are not guaranteed. Project-level participation goals are 15% MBE, 15% WBE, 6% SDVOB, and 0% DBE. - Term: Three-year base period, with up to two additional one-year renewal options.

Description

The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority intends to retain term consultants for potential project assignments in engineering, architecture, environmental, and planning disciplines. Listed disciplines include Architecture, MEP, Civil/Structural, LRRT–Train Control, HSEQ, Planning, and Construction Monitoring; firms must submit a separate proposal for each discipline pursued. The agreements are planned for three years beginning on or about April 1, 2027, with options for two additional one-year renewals, and selection does not guarantee any specific assignments or spending. Proposals are evaluated on qualifications and must be submitted electronically without cost information; MWBE, SDVOB, and/or DBE participation is required on a per-project basis.
