The Department of the Air Force is seeking equipment to convert the Malmstrom AFB Auto Hobby Shop car wash to three functioning hand-wash bays. - Government buyer: Department of the Air Force; 341st Force Support Squadron (FSS); Auto Hobby Shop, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana. - OEM/vendor named: Kleen-Rite is identified in the names of the reverse osmosis system and low-pressure panel; other manufacturers and vendors are not specified. - Equipment requested: One pump stand (PSP300-J), one installation kit (PSPIK-3-J), one weep panel (WEEPPANEL), three boom kits (PSPBAYKIT-360-2-FB), one reverse osmosis system (PWR2400), one meter box (CBK5000HS), three low-pressure panels (LPS3BAY-DOS), and one re-pressurization pump (WD1300-3). - Notable requirements: The pump stand is a pre-plumbed and pre-wired, three-bay unit with 5 HP motors and Cat 310 pumps. The reverse osmosis system requires single-phase 240V power and connects to the pump stand. The re-pressurization pump is configured for three bays with a three-phase adder. - Installation and timing: Government personnel will remove the existing equipment and install the new equipment. The project must be completed within 45 calendar days after award; detailed specifications are in the Statement of Work.

Description

The 341st Force Support Squadron (FSS) requires new and upgraded equipment for the car wash bays at the Auto Hobby Shop on Malmstrom AFB, MT. The objective is to provide three working hand-wash bays for personnel to utilize to clean their vehicles, replacing the inoperable automatic wash bays and allowing for additional revenue generation. This project includes;  - Pump stand with installation kit  - Weep panel   - Boom kit  - Reverse Osmosis system   - Meter box  - Low pressure panel  - Re-pressurization pump For the specifications of these items see the SOW.
