Description
The City of Brookings is seeking proposals from qualified multidisciplinary firms to provide professional design, engineering, bidding, and construction-administration services for the Downtown Armory Site Community Space Redevelopment Project. Work will advance an existing concept for the Armory property at 221 Main Avenue and adjacent City-owned parcels into a welcoming downtown community gathering space, including design development, construction documents, bidding assistance, and construction-phase services. The project is expected to involve demolition of the existing Armory building after the required historic review process, while incorporating appropriate historic elements and materials into the new public space. Proposals must include two hard copies and a PDF copy on flash drive and be received by October 20, 2026, at 12:00 PM CST.
