Description
MassDEP is seeking grant proposals for feasibility studies, infrastructure design, water chemistry analyses, and other activities to identify and advance water supply solutions for communities with active public water supply sources in the Ipswich River Basin. Eligible planning and implementation projects may reduce demand on the basin, particularly on sources impacted by PFAS, and/or connect communities to more sustainable water supplies. Eligible entities include public water suppliers in the Ipswich River Basin with a Water Management Act permit, a permit application filed, or a WMA registration. Total funding available is up to $900,000, with awards generally ranging from $100,000 to $450,000 per applicant; responses are due November 6, 2026, by 5:00 p.m.
