Description

San Joaquin County Community Development Department is requesting proposals from qualified organizations to revise the 2035 General Plan, adopted in 2016, in response to a recent audit report and align it with state law and guidance. The work includes updates to six specified General Plan elements and adding or integrating an Environmental Justice Element; other elements and updates may also be included. The project also includes resulting zoning map and Development Title updates, as well as evaluating agricultural policies and 2 to 4 Urban/Rural Communities to identify possible changes in future growth and development patterns. Proposals are due November 10, 2026, at 4:30 PM PST.
