The University of South Dakota is seeking seasonal cleaning services for campus housing in Vermillion. - Government buyer: University of South Dakota, University Housing, Purchasing Office; the attachment identifies Raleigh Tiahrt. - OEMs and vendors: No cleaning-product manufacturers, service vendors, or specific products are named in the opportunity. - Coyote Village cleaning: Seasonal deep and light cleaning for a 174-unit property: 53 two-bedroom suites without stoves, 77 four-bedroom suites without stoves, 21 two-bedroom apartments with stoves, and 23 four-bedroom apartments with stoves. Two-bedroom units are approximately 512 square feet and four-bedroom units approximately 854 square feet. - Work includes kitchens, living areas, bathrooms, bedrooms, appliances, windows, blinds, furniture, fixtures, walls, doors, vents, and other surfaces; carpet vacuuming and steam cleaning; and hard-floor mopping or buffing. - Kitchen-floor stripping and rewaxing may be requested for an estimated 10% of units annually. - Professional Staff Apartments: Full deep cleaning of eight two-bedroom apartments, including kitchens, appliances, living and dining areas, bathrooms, bedrooms, floors, windows, furnishings, and other surfaces. The number of apartments cleaned may vary by year. - Additional work and requirements: Offerors must provide prices by unit type and cleaning task, plus hourly rates for additional work. Proposals must describe cleaning chemicals and plans for mold and mildew remediation and prevention, and include at least three relevant references. The contractor must coordinate electronically with Housing daily, provide daily work summaries, and report conditions that prevent cleaning. Housing staff will inspect completed spaces. - Period: The initial term is approximately nine and a half months, with four one-year renewal options. Work is seasonal, primarily during summer and winter break; it is not an annual subscription.

The University of South Dakota is seeking proposals for cleaning services at Coyote Village and Professional Staff Apartments. Work includes deep and light cleaning of suites and apartments, including common areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms, as well as deep cleaning of professional staff apartments. Services are expected primarily from May 5 through August 20, 2027, with additional work during winter break; the agreement is expected to run through September 30, 2027, with four one-year renewal options. Proposals are due November 10, 2026, by 2:00 PM CT.
