Electronic reporting is proposed. - Reporting cadence: Initial reporting would cover a full calendar-year reporting period, with monthly reporting required after the final rule takes effect. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs, vendors, products, or part numbers are identified.
Description
The Delaware River Basin Commission proposes to amend its Water Code and Comprehensive Plan to require public water supply systems (purveyors) to report water use by their largest customers. The proposed reporting would apply to systems withdrawing an average of at least 100,000 gallons per day and customers supplied at least 50,000 gallons per day through one or more proximate connections. Required data would include monthly water supplied, customer type or sector, and NAICS code, among other information. Written comments are accepted through December 4, 2026, and a remote public hearing is scheduled for November 4, 2026.
