Description

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) provides notice of its intended approach for designating areas under the 2024 revised primary annual PM2.5 National Ambient Air Quality Standards, pursuant to Clean Air Act section 107(d). The notice summarizes EPA’s review of air quality monitoring data and initial designation submissions from States, territories, and Tribes, and describes its intended approach to final designations. EPA invites public comment on that approach; comments are due November 5, 2026. The notice is not a procurement solicitation.
