Description
The Department of Justice, FBI Criminal Justice Information Services Division, is seeking OMB review and approval for an extension of a currently approved information collection. The collection requests monthly arson-offense data from federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement agencies for the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting Program to collect, disseminate, and publish arson statistics. The estimated respondent population is 3,671 law enforcement agencies, with an estimated response time of 9 minutes per monthly submission. Public comments are accepted until December 7, 2026.
