Description
Université du Québec à Montréal is inviting bids for the complete replacement of cooling towers 2 and 3 on the roof of Pavillon Président-Kennedy. Work includes disconnecting and reconnecting mechanical, electrical, and control services; demolition and removal; crane lifts; and supplying, installing, commissioning, and testing replacement towers in the existing locations. The contractor must also recover and reinstall certain existing equipment, perform related protection, repairs, finishing, and site cleanup, and maintain safe access while minimizing disruption to building occupants. Interruptions to electromechanical services and work elsewhere in the building must take place outside normal occupancy hours, subject to the Owner’s authorization.
