Description
Université du Québec à Montréal is requesting bids to renovate the entire J-6500 mechanical room in the Judith-Jasmin Pavilion and replace its end-of-life electromechanical systems. The work includes mechanical, electrical, structural, exterior-envelope, asbestos-removal, fungal-decontamination, and crystalline-silica-related work, along with enhanced commissioning and related site work. Work will be phased so building spaces remain operational, and the contractor must minimize disruption, maintain safe access, and control site safety and protection. The contract also includes salvaging and reinstalling certain existing equipment.
