DLA Troop Support is seeking one 5-gallon can of CARC-compatible, HAP-free paint thinner for Army National Guard use. - Government buyer - Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), DLA Troop Support, Construction & Equipment (HRD Ware) - Buyer contact: Stephen Ockenhouse - Product requested - One can of paint thinner, NSN 8010-01-608-8271; 5 gallons per can - No OEM or supplying vendor is named in the notice or attachment. - Key product requirements - HAP-free solvent blend for reducing Chemical Agent Resistant Coating (CARC) paint and cleaning or flushing paint lines and guns; an alternative to MIL-T-81772. - Must contain 73–77% T-butyl acetate and 23–27% methyl amyl ketone. Reclaimed solvent is prohibited. - Must be compatible at a 4:1 mixing ratio with MIL-DTL-53022 and MIL-DTL-53039. - Each shipment requires a Certificate of Conformance. Packaging, labeling, and hazardous-material documentation requirements apply. - Product has a 36-month shelf life and must have at least 85% remaining upon receipt, with manufacture and inspection/test dates marked. - Delivery - Delivery is required 5 days after award, FOB destination, to Florida Army National Guard CSMS 1 at Camp Blanding.
