The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Kansas City District is seeking market information on one pipe-crawler inspection system to replace its existing ROVR 125. - Buyer and procurement: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District. Ancillary equipment such as the laptop and blower is not part of the purchase. - Software and support: Provide editable reporting software compliant with NASSCO PACP requirements, with operating-system and reporting-software updates at no additional cost over the system’s operational life. Include printed operator and maintenance manuals, software guides, initial operator training, and lifecycle assistance sourcing replacement parts and authorized service providers. - Named products and organizations: ROVR 125 is identified as the existing system to be replaced; NASSCO is referenced for PACP reporting compliance. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District (NWK), is conducting market research to identify qualified, capable, and interested parties—capable of delivering a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) pipe crawling inspection system.
The system will be utilized for the internal inspection of non-sanitary municipal and civil infrastructure. Access will typically be gained via standard infrastructure access points, including:

The inspection system must be a modular, steerable, wheel-driven unit capable of adjusting to varying pipe sizes, lengths, and construction materials.
