Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 15 Contracting Office intends to release a commercial solicitation, to provide Elevator Maintenance Services for the St. Louis VAMC s (Jefferson Barracks & John Cochran) located at Jefferson Barracks - 1 Jefferson Barracks Drive, St. Louis MO 63125-4181 & John Cochran - 915 North Grand Boulevard, St. Louis MO 63106-1621. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), St. Louis VAMC s (Jefferson Barracks & John Cochran) requires Elevator Maintenance Services in support of the St. Louis VAMC s. Under this Statement of Work (SOW), the contractor shall provide full elevator maintenance service, in compliance with the ANSI/ASME Safety Code requirements, the manufacturer's recommendations, the Elevator Industry Field Employees Safety Handbook, National Electrical Code, and all other applicable laws, regulations, rules, ordinances, codes, etc. Full maintenance service is defined as all services, repairs and testing necessary to maintain all elevators, appurtenances, and accessories, in a fully operational mode at all times except for prescheduled downtime including all labor, parts, and materials.

This requirement includes elevators requiring monthly maintenance, semi-annual inspection, safety testing, and five-year load testing for the following:

John Cochran 15 Total Elevators (MCE) Type/Drive Passenger/Traction, Passenger/Hydraulic, Dumbwaiter/Traction, & Passenger/Traction

Jefferson Barracks 24 Total Elevators (James, Long, White-Evans, Delaware, Dover, & MCE) Type/Drive Passenger/Hydraulic, Service/Hydraulic, Service/Traction, & Passenger/Traction

The government intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) IDIQ with five (5) one-year ordering periods. Individual bulk funded orders will be issued by the NCO 15 Contracting Office. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238290 (Other Building Equipment Contractors), with a size standard of $22 Million.
