The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is seeking quotes to remove approximately 108 trees along a designated path near the Lake Welch Wastewater Treatment Plant in Harriman State Park. Trees must be cut to no more than 3 feet above ground, with trees at least 18 inches DBH stockpiled by the plant; hauling trees or debris off site is not included. Work requires equipment that meets the underpass clearance and uses low-ground-pressure tracks or rubber wheels, and erosion-control measures must be installed after soil disturbance. All trees must be on the ground by March 31, 2027, and the service term is November 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027.
