Watervliet Arsenal is seeking specialized protective anodizing for M284 pre-reservoirs used in cannon production. - Government buyer: U.S. Department of the Army, Army Contracting Command (ACC), Watervliet Arsenal (W6QK ACC WVA); the listed contact is Christopher Battiste. - OEM/vendor: General Magnaplate Corp. The requested finish is its MAGNAPLATE HCR process. - Requested work: anodize 90 pre-reservoirs total in two CLINs—18 pieces and 72 pieces—per drawing 11583248, Note 3. Apply MAGNAPLATE HCR finish 13017351-2 to MIL-A-8625 Type III, Class I requirements. - Quality and traceability requirements: finish must be free of racking marks, spots, lines, and voids. Process one 4×4 test panel per batch, return it with the shipment, and record batch serial/shop numbers on the panel. - Requested turnaround is 15 business days after receipt of a shipment. The CLIN performance windows are separate and extend into 2028. - The solicitation identifies General Magnaplate Corp. as the intended sole-source vendor; other interested parties may submit quotes for evaluation.
