The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking market information on on-site hematology-oncology physician and registered nurse services for the St. Cloud VA Healthcare System. - Government buyer: Department of Veterans Affairs, St. Cloud VA Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office 23; contracting officer: Jeffrey Brown. - Notice purpose: Sources sought for market research only; this notice does not result in an award. - Services requested: - One board-certified hematology-oncology physician for outpatient clinic care, inpatient consultations, chart review and results communication, discharge education, quality-improvement work, and after-hours call coverage. Coverage is 40 hours per week, with up to five additional approved hours weekly. - One registered nurse for specialty-clinic patient assessment and care planning, medication administration, patient and family education, clinical and administrative support, CPRS documentation, care coordination, and quality-improvement activities. - Notable requirements: Physician must be ABIM board-certified in Oncology, with Hematology accepted as an additional certification, and meet VA licensing, credentialing, privileging, training, and BLS requirements. The RN must hold an active nursing license and current CPR/BLS; current ACLS is required when assigned to a specialty clinic. Both roles must follow VA clinical, patient-safety, and related facility requirements. - Coverage details: Physician clinic coverage is generally Monday through Friday during facility clinic hours. When on call, the physician must be reachable by phone within 15 minutes and able to arrive on site within 60 minutes. RN coverage is during facility hours or as otherwise required by the facility. - OEMs and vendors: No commercial OEMs or service vendors are identified.
