Description
The U.S. International Trade Commission instituted preliminary antidumping and countervailing duty investigations concerning imports of amine compounds from China. The investigations will determine whether there is a reasonable indication that a U.S. industry is materially injured or threatened with material injury, or that establishment of an industry is materially retarded, due to these imports, which are alleged to be sold below fair value and subsidized by the Government of China. The Commission's preliminary determination is due by November 13, 2026, unless the Department of Commerce extends the initiation deadline; the Commission's views are due to Commerce within five business days thereafter. The notice lists investigation numbers 701-TA-808 and 731-TA-1809 (Preliminary) and product classification numbers 2909.11.00.00, 2921.29.00.55, 2922.19.96.90, and 2934.99.90.01.
