Description

The U.S. International Trade Commission instituted preliminary antidumping and countervailing duty investigations concerning imports of railway tank cars and parts thereof from Mexico. The investigations will determine whether there is a reasonable indication that imports allegedly sold at less than fair value and subsidized by the Government of Mexico materially injure or threaten a U.S. industry, or materially retard its establishment. The products are identified under HTSUS subheading 8606.10.00. The Commission's preliminary determination is due by November 16, 2026, unless the Department of Commerce extends the time for initiation.
