Ontario is seeking a contractor to replace the roof at the MTO Morriston Patrol Yard. - Government buyer: Government of Ontario, Ministry of Transportation (MTO); project site is the Morriston Patrol Yard. - Requested services: Remove and dispose of the existing roof assembly, ballast, sheet-metal capping, and brick chimney; modify and raise parapets; install a new insulated two-ply modified bitumen roof with tapered insulation; replace flashing and metal components; apply sealants; redistribute ballast; and complete restoration and cleanup. - Contractor responsibilities: Provide the required labour, materials, equipment, supervision, and disposal services, and include applicable warranties. - Requirements: Perform the work in accordance with applicable codes, manufacturer specifications, and industry standards. - OEMs and vendors: No manufacturers, OEMs, vendors, product models, or part numbers are specified.

Description

This Request for Bids is for construction services at the MTO Morriston Patrol Yard. The work includes removing and disposing of the existing roofing assembly down to the structural deck, modifying and raising parapets, and installing a new insulated two-ply modified bitumen roofing system with tapered insulation. It also includes replacing flashing and sheet metal components, removing an existing chimney, applying required sealants, redistributing ballast, and completing restoration and site clean-up. The contractor must provide all labour, materials, equipment, supervision, disposal services, and applicable warranties, and comply with applicable codes, manufacturer specifications, and industry standards.
