Tennessee is seeking qualified providers for leadership-development and executive-coaching engagements across state government. - Government buyer: State of Tennessee Department of Human Resources (DOHR), Office of Organization and Agility (OOA); contact listed as Cherie L. Graves, Department of Human Resources, Tennessee Tower, 17th Floor, Nashville, Tennessee. - Requested services: - Facilitation and professional development, including customized leadership workshops for frontline, mid-level, and senior leaders. - Keynote and graduation addresses, panel participation, and executive coaching. - Curriculum development is mentioned, but the amendment gives conflicting answers about whether it is in scope; providers should confirm this requirement. - Delivery and engagement details: Work is generally ad hoc and negotiated for each engagement. Delivery may be virtual or in person, depending on agency needs. In-person locations may include Paris Landing, Fall Creek Falls, and Montgomery Bell state parks, the Tennessee State Library and Archives, and Tennessee Towers. - Coaching format: Current engagements typically involve six individual sessions of 60–90 minutes, primarily for mid-level leaders; the solicitation does not set a required quantity for future engagements. - Notable requirements: Providers should describe their leadership competencies, coaching strategies, facilitation approach, virtual-delivery capability, and pricing units and ranges. Content should align with the State’s leadership competency and coaching framework, identified as Korn Ferry competencies. Respondents should provide representative curriculum or a lesson plan, a professional bio, resume, headshot, and client references; two to three references are sufficient. Providers retain ownership of presented content, and travel costs should be covered in agreed pricing. The State will list individual facilitators, even when a company or firm responds. - OEMs and vendors: No product manufacturers or prospective service vendors are identified. Korn Ferry is named as the competency framework, not as a designated provider. No products, part numbers, or fixed purchase quantities are requested.

Description

The State of Tennessee Department of Human Resources is seeking information from speakers and coaches for learning and leadership development for the Office of Organization and Agility. The opportunity is intended to update a directory of subject matter experts, trainers, and coaches available for workshops, keynote and graduation addresses, panel discussions, executive coaching, and related leadership programs. Services may include in-person or virtual delivery and are used for ad hoc engagements across Tennessee State Government. Responses will support a structured vetting process and do not create contract rights; the RFI states that responding is not a prerequisite for future solicitations.
