MoDOT is seeking a contractor to replace the Lemay Maintenance fuel island with a complete diesel fueling system. - Buyer: State of Missouri, Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), St. Louis District, Lemay Maintenance office; contact named in the attachment: Logan Wilbers. - Core equipment: One Wayne twin diesel pump, Model 3/G7242P/28JKUY1/K, or approved equal; one 3,000-gallon, UL 142 double-wall Newberry saddle tank, or approved equal; and one Morrison Bros. pump stand, part 434-17001 AK. - Tank fittings and fuel-island components: Two Morrison Bros. Model 244 6-inch emergency vents; one Model 910 anti-siphon valve; one Model 516 spill bucket with one Model 9095AA 2-inch overfill-prevention valve; one OPW 23 Series open atmospheric vent; one locking 2-inch cap; one plug for future use; and one full-level monitor supplied and installed by others. Two-inch black iron piping and two ball valves are also specified; piping painting is by others. - Hose equipment: Two 12-foot Husky EagleFlex hoses, two Husky Safe-T-Break breakaways (003360), two Husky swivels (000350), and two Husky nozzles (159561-03). - Installation and requirements: Install on the existing concrete pad, grout and shim the tank as needed, and anchor it with stainless-steel anchors per the manufacturer. Coordinate final electrical and fuel-management-system connections with MoDOT personnel; electrical and fuel-management work is provided by MoDOT. Contractor provides a one-year parts-and-labor warranty. Description
MoDOT seeks bids for materials and labor to install one fuel tank, one fuel dispenser, and the components and hardware needed for a fully functional fuel island at its St. Louis District Lemay Maintenance location. Bids may be submitted electronically through MissouriBUYS or by mail, UPS, or FedEx. Attendance at a site visit is mandatory for a bid to be accepted.
