Lease of Class A Legislative Office Space in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough

The Alaska Legislature’s Legislative Affairs Agency is seeking a long-term lease for Class A office space in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. - Government buyer: Legislative Affairs Agency, Alaska Legislature, through its Procurement and Supply Section; procurement contact is JC Kestel, Procurement Manager. - Requirement: Lease approximately 7,400 net usable square feet in one building for legislative offices, conference rooms, reception, and support functions. - Included services and features: ADA-compliant space, 24/7 access, utilities other than telecommunications, television, and internet bills, janitorial service, maintenance, and snow and ice removal. - Parking: Provide 50 reserved off-street spaces at no additional cost, including 10 directly adjacent to the building. - Timing and term: Space is targeted for occupancy in 2027. The initial lease term is 10 years, with five optional two-year renewals, for up to 20 years total. - OEMs and vendors: No OEMs, landlords, or prospective vendors are named; no manufactured products or part numbers are requested.

Description

The Legislative Affairs Agency is seeking competitive sealed proposals to lease approximately 7,400 square feet of usable office space in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough area of Alaska. Proposals must be received by 2:00 p.m. Alaska Time on November 2, 2026; faxed proposals are not allowed. Offerors must register in writing with the Procurement Manager to receive subsequent amendments, and failure to register may result in rejection of a proposal.
