Route 180 P185 Culvert Replacement Construction

New Brunswick is seeking a contractor to replace culvert structure P185 on Route 180 in Restigouche County. - Government buyer: Province of New Brunswick, Department of Transportation and Infrastructure; Strategic Procurement – Transportation and Infrastructure and Emergency Management Branch are identified in the tender materials. - Scope: Contract 26-0180 covers removal of the existing 3000 mm corrugated steel pipe culvert and installation of two 2400 mm 65D reinforced concrete culverts, along with roadway, embankment, drainage, and channel work. - OEMs and vendors: No product manufacturers, OEMs, resellers, or other commercial vendors are named. Other specified items include guide rail, guide posts, sediment-control fence, shoulder material, individual rock placement, and additional aggregate and geotextile specifications. - Temporary works and construction services: Three staged traffic-detour phases; two 1200 mm temporary water-control culvert sections (17.5 m and 15 m); temporary channel works and liner; traffic control, barriers, water control, fish rescue, and construction mobilization. - Notable requirements: Work is restricted to daylight hours. Temporary water-control works must function properly; the tender specifies a potential $1,000-per-day penalty when they do not.
