Flower Mound Subsurface Utility Engineering and Locating Services

The Town of Flower Mound is seeking qualified firms to perform subsurface utility engineering and locating work for municipal projects. - Government buyer: Town of Flower Mound, Purchasing Office; contact listed as Sabrina R. Zadow, Purchasing Manager. - Requested services: Subsurface utility engineering (SUE) and utility locating, including investigations meeting Quality Levels A and/or B under CI/ASCE 38. - Services include non-invasive ground penetrating radar (GPR) and pavement removal and replacement. - Firms may qualify for the GPR category alone; they do not have to provide Level A or Level B SUE to qualify for that category. - Professional engineers must be available to stamp plans when applicable. - OEMs and vendors: No product manufacturers, OEMs, or service-provider vendors are named in the solicitation materials. - Products and quantities: No products, part numbers, or fixed quantities are specified; work is for various Town projects. - Engagement: Qualified firms will be retained for two years and may be asked to provide project-specific proposals.

Description

The Town of Flower Mound is requesting Statements of Qualifications from firms to provide subsurface utility engineering and locating services for various projects. The work includes utility investigations meeting Quality Levels A and/or B under CI/ASCE 38, with professional engineers able to stamp plans when applicable. Selected firms will be retained for two years and may be asked to submit service proposals for Town approval. Firms may qualify for only specific service categories, including non-invasive ground penetrating radar; responses must be submitted electronically and include the required certification form, conflict of interest questionnaire, and proof of insurance.
