Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors is seeking bridge replacement work and Northeastern Area bridge engineering services. - Government buyer: Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors. - Bridge replacement scope: Replace three bridges in Alberta: - BF 73207 on Hwy. 10:08 over a tributary to the Red Deer River near Rosedale. - BF 71392 on Hwy. 569:02 over a watercourse near East Coulee. - BF 13047 on Hwy. 849:04 over a watercourse near Drumheller. - Engineering services scope: As-needed engineering for culvert and standard bridge replacements in the Northeastern Area, including preliminary engineering, detailed design, tendering, contract administration, construction and fabrication supervision, and post-construction work. - OEMs and specified products: No OEMs, vendors, or manufactured products are identified; the requirement is for bridge work and professional engineering services.

Description

This RFP covers two contracts: replacement of three bridges near Rosedale, East Coulee, and Drumheller, Alberta, and regional bridge engineering consulting services for as-and-when-required culvert and standard bridge replacements in the Northeastern Area. Services include preliminary engineering, detailed design, contract tendering and administration, construction and fabrication supervision, and post-construction work. The solicitation is restricted to Mott MacDonald Canada Ltd., Stantec Consulting Ltd., and Tetra Tech Canada Inc.; submissions from other parties will be returned without review. Proposals are due October 15, 2026, and consultant selection will be based on best overall value.
