Description
The Province is seeking proposals for manual wildfire-risk-reduction fuel treatment in Treatment Unit 3 of the Fox Farm Road project area near Iron Mountain and the Fox Farm community. Work covers approximately 16.7 hectares in TU 3 and includes thinning, pruning, piling, and pile burning; an adjacent 7.2 hectares in TU 1 is for pile burning only. The work aims to reduce wildfire hazards and address other objectives while protecting environmental, cultural, recreation, utility, and other identified values. The maximum available contract budget is $112,760, exclusive of applicable taxes, and proposals exceeding that amount will be rejected.
